Level Course Guidelines
In January 2000, the Australian National Council of Orff Schulwerk approved a set of guidelines to ensure Level Course Training in Australia achieved consistent learning outcomes across courses and between States.
The intent of Level Courses is to provide training in the pedagogy, media, repertoire, techniques and teaching strategies that make up the Orff approach to music and movement education.
The ANCOS Level Course Guidelines for Orff Schulwerk Music and Movement Training specifies a minimum content and skill requirement so that participants can do their Level Training in any State of Australia and be confident that the skills and knowledge they acquire in a previous level will adequately prepare them for the work in the next level.
