Session Abstract

Unusual metres widen our musical experience and understanding and provide thought-provoking opportunities to challenge our musicality. This session begins an exploration of five-beat metre through vocalising, moving, playing, improvising and composing, with the main focus on playing. By the end of the session, participants will have developed a performance on a variety of unusual sound sources.
