What is this Orff Thing?

Session Abstract

Welcome to the world of creative music and movement education, Orff Schulwerk style. There is no great mystery to teaching with an Orff approach, just much joy, serious fun, artistic skill and conceptual development and commitment to creating environments for developing independent, musical people. In this session, each body in the room will experience first-hand, the joy of being a creative musical person through the use of the voice, moving, playing, improvising and composing. Everyone can be a creative musician when participating in active musical experiences.
