Co-founder of the NSW Orff Schulwerk Association, Active committee member of the NSW Association for 20 years. Principal of Wangee Park S.S.P. for 20 years. Co author of ‘Music and Dance’ teaching resource with colleague Lorna Parker. Awarded O.A.M. in 1997 for Services to people with disabilities, support groups for women and to music education. Also awarded Rotary’s Paul Harris Award. Has written many articles on creative music which have been published nationally and internationally. Enjoys playing recorder and crumhorn in a baroque music ensemble.

Session Abstract

Facilitating dance activities for all people – children and adults, using both conventional dances and creative dance making with consideration being given to levels of cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.
