Gavin Allen is a highly respected school administrator who has been Principal in schools in New Zealand, Indonesia and Taiwan. This session is an informational and question/answer presentation which outlines the potential and ramifications in looking at teaching overseas. The session will be divided in 2 parts: Stephen Abernethy will outline his experiences and the parameters and expectations one may face in teaching music overseas. Gavin Allen will then present the practicalities of registering with placement agencies, preparing CV documents and timelines should you be thinking of an international school teaching career.
